The first five minutes
- Pick a starter in the Pokémon Lab in Mitis Town.
- Professor Cypress hands you the Pokédex right after you choose it.
- Head east to Route 1 for Pidgey, then west into Gale Forest for Caterpie, Pidgey and the Pikachu line.
- Badge 1 is Arc — clear Silvent Gym to open up the next stretch.
